[He doesn't know the voice feature of the communication has turned on. Actually, since he and Heiji went off to investigate, Adam hasn't noticed the little things unless needed to.]

I'm lost...not in the literal sense but I bet you understand, right?

[There's the sound of feet crunching the ground then it stops.]

I knew there were risks when I decided to join with you and the other Rangers but being on a world where there's practically no rules is something I wasn't prepared for. Kinda funny isn't it? [He laughs but there's no joy, rather, it was hollow.] We've fought aliens and monsters and even dopplegangers-

[He freezes and sighs.]

They're not like the ones we've dealt with before...I think the ones here have killed several people. It could be more from what I've been hearing all over.

I'm worried, Zordon.

[His mentor's been dead for nearly nine years but he still like all of Zordon's Chosen looked up to the sky and wanted his advice.]

I'm worried about what will happen...will it get to the point that we'll have to- [He stops and makes a 'tch' noise.]

No, he's not going to do it. He's still young. If anyone is going to stain their hands, I rather have it be myself. But only if they don't give me another choice.

[A pause.]

I don't know anymore Zordon...if it happens...will I become like the monsters I used to fight?

[Then the feed shuts off.]

((OOC: Adam and Heiji are further outside the town doing some investigating. So action is only to him at this time. And even though I said I'm on slowatus, I'm posting this while I got time.))

[He's not gonna stop asking that until he got what he wanted, was he? But why his hand? He's never pictured Heiji as that type of person. Was it some kind of experiment like earlier? After a couple of moments, Adam held out one of his hands. Questioning was not an option because he got the feeling that he was going to find out soon.]

[About time. Heiji took his hand by the palm and brought it closer to him. He pinched the rough of one of the fingers and watched it closely. He dropped the hand and then leaned closer to Adam. Mild space invasion was necessary. His fingers gently clamped over one of Adam's eyes to move the lids out of the way. It was only a brief glance before he pulled away.]

Yer dehydrated. If ya don't get water soon, yer gonna start hallucinatin'.

[That was why? Adam gave him a simple look.]

I'm fine. Just need some sleep, that's all. So do you.

[...

He was telling him this for his health.]

Yer more likely ta die of dehydration befer sleep deprivation. [And they'd die of sleep deprivation before starvation. There were priorities and Heiji knew them.]

Did ya bring water?

[He nods and pulled out a half empty bottle from his jacket pocket.]

[Just as he said that, raindrops started to fall down.]

Then drink some. We can always go back ta get more. [It was just a long day. That's what this was. It's been a long week, and Heiji refused to just give up. He didn't even expect Adam to still be with him either.

He blinked when he felt some droplets. There was a slight growl of frustration. It was the secondary factor that's slowed him down and washed away evidence he could have used: Rain.]

We need ta find shelter. [They were too far from town at the moment. He started walking.]

[Don't need to tell him twice. Damn this forest...where the hell was a cave when you needed it. At least it was raining so he could fill up the bottle more. But there was the nasty little thought of stuff washing away that they needed.]

[Heiji will bitch at him if he does.]

If we haven't found anythin' by now, chances are there wasn't anythin' ta begin with.

[Then what the hell was the point? He sighs and shrugs, on the search of finding some shelter and-OHSHITTHUNDER. Unamused Ranger was unamused.]

[It chose now of all times to rain this week. sob.

Some time later and finally decent enough shelter. Don't ask what lmfao.]

[Man, it's been raining all week! On and off.

Anyway, shelter. Yep. Shelter is awesome.]

Hopefully this will be a light shower. There's still ground ta cover.

[He just nodded in response. He wasn't going to comment just to make sure he doesn't end up jinxing them by making it thunderstorm really bad.]
