5th Morph [Video]
[The feed clicks on to show the night sky with its many stars as well as a pair of black clad legs before it reveals who he is as he picks up the communicator and sits down. Then he positions the camera back to the sky.]
It's been awhile since I really saw something like this. Even in a small town, it's hard to see with all the lights on. I wonder if I can see the constallations on this world too.
[He sighs but for once, it's a happy one.]
((OOC: Stargazing at the observatory just to bring in something a little more happier. Have at it people!))

Yeah, it is a big deal; it's the day that America became a nation and broke away from England. The war was hell from what I read.
Really? I'm surprised he and America are so close then.
[Sounds surprised. Still has no idea that he met male Japan while rescuing Heiji.]
I guess afterwards, they became good friends with time.
That's kind of a sweet story I guess.
Maybe...I'm not sure how countries really act. [Still a little uncomfortable with Denmark's rant about wanting sex. Funny how he's actually fine around Yao.]
So far as I can tell? Same as anyone else. [Though, Marco is completely biased.]
[In Denmark's case...a little too crazy at times.]
I hope Yao's feeling better...he might've liked this.
[It would surely make him not think about recent events, that's for sure.]
Liked what, the stars you mean?
Yeah.
[Pauses for a moment then asks...]
Ever tried making pictures with them?
I mean it's different here though. The Grand Line's constellations are pretty confusing, they don't stay put in a sense. And so very often each island has a different story to tell about them.
Sounds like you know a lot of them. Could I hear one?
[He sounds really curious at this.]
[Waves a hand back and forth.] Besides, I'm not really sure what happens with the constellations here, eh?
[Video] Storytime?
[Marco can't see it but Adam's grinning.]The fun part is trying to find out, right?
[Now he sounds like a giddy teen again. This was needed more often.]
[Video] lol okay THIS IS NOT CANON. Just made up using Egyptian phoenix mythology and adapted to OP
It's said once upon a time in my world phoenixes used to live high up in the mountains and travel between islands, searching for others of its kind. Though solitary creatures, they didn't mean to be alone, they simply were nonetheless for safety. -- which is a star that stands alone in the sky. They generally avoid humans, soaring so high up that even the sky islanders cannot reach, but it's said that once every five hundred years one brings its father to a funeral pyre at the top of the world to rebirth from the ashes.
Perhaps it's a reference to a comet, eh?
[Gosh he's embarrassed.]
[Video]*Locked to Marco: 50%* That's fine. :)
It reminds me of the North Star, being the brightest star in the sky. They say to find your way back home, you follow the North Star. Maybe that was so other phoenixes could find each other so they won't be so alone. That's my thought anyway.
[The camera shows one of Adam's hands making an outline in the sky, connecting stars like...a connect-the-dots. If one would notice, the shape he was making was a frog.]
[Video] [locked 50%]
All right, your turn, what constellation and story are you making now?
[Video] [locked 50%]
Maybe there is something like that back in your world; it could be just waiting.
[He stops his finger and his hand goes off screen.] Well, it's hard to tell because it doesn't have an ending yet. Who wants to hear a story without a good ending?
[Video] [locked 50%]
We'll see. We've got a thing like that for pirates, but it's so much a guiding light as a calling.
Eh, I like stories that are still in progress.
[Video] [locked 50%] *Adam's actually explaining stuff that happened in season three of MMPR*
[He sighs again as his finger appears again and makes the frog outline once more. When he stopped, he pushed two fingers slightly as if he were making the non-existant reptile move. Now he starts telling his story.]
There's many types of guardians back home but this is a story about one small creature. In the beginning, there were six guardians who protected the people from evil: the red ape, the yellow bear, the blue wolf, the pink crane, the white falcon, and the black frog.
[He draws an outline of each creature as he speaks.]
They were fierce in battle and able to defeat their foes with their gifts and were happy to be helpful to the people, who praised them. However, the Frog felt like he wasn't good enough for his team: the Crane and Falcon could move gracefully and swift while the Bear, Ape, and Wolf had massive strength to stop foes where they stood. What chance did a small animal like him have against the enemy?
One day as the Frog was watching some children play, a golden monkey, an old enemy, came to him and ambushed the guardian into a battle. Knowing the Frog was doubting himself, the Monkey used a mirror to amplify the Frog's self doubt and made him weaker, showing him painful memories where he couldn't protect anyone.
The mirror had a strong hold on the reptile but it was one memory that stood out for him: a little boy coming up to say hello and invited the Frog to join in a game. That memory was the saving grace and he broke free of the mirror's influence and defeated the Monkey.
[There's a pause afterwards. SORRY FOR THE LONG REPLY.]
That's all I really remember right now. Sorry it's not a good one like yours.
[Video] [locked 50%] Nice :3
[Long replies are good!!]
No, it's a gripping story, you just need to work out your ending like you said, eh?
[Video] [locked 50%]
But if someone did, they would most likely keep it a secret. Towns have a way of doing that. [He remembered how Angel Grove stood up to the likes of Dark Spectre and refused to tell him who the rangers were at that time. So keeping a secret like a phoenix around? Yeah, it was possible.
He then smiled to himself at Marco's compliment.]
Thanks. It's hard to figure out when the story should end though.
[The Frog's tale was far from over...now since coming to Fortuna, it was just beginning.]
[Video] [locked 50%]
Sometimes a story's ending is really just a beginning to a bigger story, eh? That's how life works so good stories tend do that too.
[Video] [locked 50%]
I guess you're right. It's got a long way to go...
[Video] [locked 50%]
Sometimes that's the best part of a story.
