[It was better to show him so the ranger pressed a few buttons on the communicator, locking the conversation about to happen. Even with everyone not exactly being normal, he still felt strange announcing it to the entire network. So locking occured. And Adam pulled out his broken morpher.]

[Something seemed different about the feed, so he takes out a wire and hooks it into the communicator. Adjusting a bit to the new frequency and locked controls, bypassing some commands. Wow, he had no idea the communicator could do all that!

He peers closely to the item in question, the static getting in the way at times, but overall he could see it.]

I've never seen that before. [Blue eyes divert back to Adam.] What does it do?

Eh? Something like that exists? [Blinks] I've seen my fair share of odd, so I guess being a superhero isn't so farfetched. But I'd like to see it rather than take your word on it. [Scratches the back of his head.] Relying on my basic programming to decipher truth from reality isn't proving helpful at all!

That's what I'm worried about. Last time I used it broken, I nearly died.

No problem, but I would suggest you get in touch with Yusei. I'm uncertain about another mechanic here, but he's the best in my opinion! [Smiles brightly]
