Canon & MEDIUM: Power Rangers (Television series)

Character AGE: Canon age is roughly 27-28, game transplant age is around 29
Character ABILITIES:
Martial Arts Knowledge: Adam is proficient in martial arts, mostly karate and kung fu, having learned them from a young age.
Power Ranger: A power ranger is someone who protects the Earth from all the crazy bad guys who think taking it over is a good idea. As a ranger, Adam’s endurance is a little tougher than the typical human being. His team (minus the Veteran Ranger one) do not have special abilities at this current time.
Ninjetti (non existent in canon point): After the destruction of the original power coins, Adam gains the powers of the Ninjetti which came with some pretty interesting powers that I will mention according to the PR Wiki:
~Replacement: When a ranger is about to be hit by an attack they replace themselves with their ninja uniform allowing them to escape the attack.
~Laser Power: Just like the tin says. Adam has the ability to shoot lasers from his hands.
~Cloning: Able to make multiple clones in this form. Mostly when fighting the drones called the Tengu Warriors.
~Giant Mode: While fighting against Tenga Warriors Adam increases his size to almost zord height. Good for throwing useless birdbrains.

Character PERSONALITY:
To understand Adam fully, we must look at what he was like when he was younger then see how it made him into the adult that he is currently. The second black ranger was once shy, quiet and lacked confidence until his time as a power ranger began. He still is shy and quiet during his ranger years and yet we also see that he is someone who values family such as their traditions. When he became an adult, Adam became wiser due to the fact that he knows how being a ranger works. While still quiet even when leading the special group of rangers during ‘Once a Ranger’, he still shows that air of leadership and knowledge given who their enemy is. It would be easier to say ‘Crouching Tiger, Hidden Badass’ but that’s not exactly who Adam is.
When we first meet Adam, he’s a reserved and quiet type: speaks unless spoken to or if something interests him. It doesn’t mean that he's a loner type type by any standards. We see him doing activities such as helping teach some youngsters karate at the youth center or coach a soccer team. The audience learns after his integration as a power ranger that he was picked on as a kid because of how small he was. This leads to believe that Adam being quiet and shy connects to some self esteem issues growing up. As a ranger, he mentors a young boy who also has the same problem and it was that same boy who gives Adam the strength to face Goldar and the so-called Mirror of Regret.
Despite his confidence, Adam still has an issue: getting close to girls. He does express interest in them as he gets upset when no one would ask him out to the vice versa dance at school. And when he does like someone, he can be…well, an idiot. When he notices the new girl Sabrina after a martial arts stint, he doesn’t notice how rudely she treats his good friend Aisha. It didn’t help that Sabrina is actually a bad guy meant to trap him but nonetheless, he is a derp when it comes to those of the opposite sex. As an adult, we see Adam still maintaining the quietness despite taking the leader position of the new group of rangers during ‘Once a Ranger’: he doesn’t yell or push. Instead, he lets his fighting do the talking. And boy, can that man fight.
Another thing to notice about Adam is that he’s someone who stands his ground and doesn’t give up. When Goldar kidnaps him along with his two friends and teacher, he’s the one who speaks up whenever the golden space monkey tries to convince them to join Lord Zedd. This is also why it seems Adam doesn’t care for bullies in general because he basically fights them on a daily basis. Except these bullies can kill people. When his successor, Carlos, is unable to morph in ‘Always a Chance’, Adam uses his broken morpher to turn the tide in their favor. Even though Adam refuses to back down from this fight, he doesn't have a choice but to use it. The result is physically exhausting him, nearly killing him in the process. In ‘Once a Ranger’ , we see Adam continue to fight the main bad guy, Thrax, despite being in a deadlock.
If there’s one thing that matters to Adam, it’s family. In the episode ‘Passing the Lantern’, his family gives him the responsibility to keep a family heirloom: a red paper lantern that supposedly has incredible powers. To him, keeping the lantern is a big deal and he would do anything to watch over it. When Rito and some goons steal the lantern, Adam is seriously upset about it. He feels like he failed the task his family gave him and feels worse when he sees that Zedd and Rita make it into a monster. But he manages to defeat the monster while remembering the message the lantern said:
What it means is that while the lantern is a catalyst, it’s Adam who has the power and that’s why his family gave him such a precious item.
Some call Adam a sensitive guy despite how he fights: he’s actually pretty good at writing (seeing how he takes Creative Writing twice and passes with an A both times) and pretty decent at piano playing. While it’s not touched on so much, we do see that he does have some creativity and not just some mindless meathead. Also, he dances pretty well with Cogs.
» EXSILIUM INFORMATION
Chosen WEAPON:
His own body (he seems to use it more than general weapons). Since he will mostly focus on his fists and legs to do the talking when it comes to fights, the best idea would be for him to be able to regenerate wounds inflicted on him. At first it’ll be dormant but given time to practice them, he’ll be able to heal his wounds gradually.
1st: smaller inflictions such as scrapes, paper cuts and bruises. They will take about three hours to heal completely.
2nd: Wounds made with small weapons such as knives and daggers, small burns, and small gunshot wounds to non lethal areas will be able to heal. Takes about an hour to heal completely.
3rd: Wounds made with larger weapons, gunshots near vital areas, mild burns, and broken bones will be healed. All but broken bones will heal in 45 minutes. Bones will mend in one week.
4th: Broken bones will mend within three days.
5th: 3rd degree burns, wounds made in vital areas will heal at this point. They will take 30 minutes. Broken bones will mend in one day.
6th: Above mentioned wounds will heal in 15 minutes. Bones will mend in six hours.

Previous GAME SETTING(s):
Discedo is a mix of survival and experimentation. Characters are brought into the world of Fortuna for unknown reasons. Some believe as an overall experiment but others might seem to think they were brought there to figure what exactly made civilization there barely existent. The overall point to it: survive. (Quick FAQ about the game can be found here.)
Previous GAME CR:
No one that Adam has had CR with is in the game right now. If some do end up arriving, I will ask permission to recognize them as well as give them details and the like. However, I will list those who he was close with in the game.
Wang Yao/China (Axis Powers Hetalia): A very good friend/maybe brother from another mother status. Yao's been there since they both arrived in Fortuna and that's a good thing to hold onto. Given that this place can throw curve balls from time to time. He obviously cares about the nation if he went running after him during that time when everyone turned into monsters and when he went through his own personal turmoil. And he'll do it again if he has to.
Heiji Hattori (Detective Conan): A habit Adam has is getting close to the teenager types. Heiji isn't the exception. To Adam, he sees something in the kid: potential to be a ranger but he might have to believe in more than just the logical. He's pretty protective of him and it was seen when Heiji was being a dumbass and getting caught in a subway full of monsters. Let’s just say that when he got there to rescue him, the monsters didn’t stand a chance.
Conan Edogawa/Shinichi Kudo (Detective Conan): First impressions say Conan is a smart kid but until an event involving skin stealers, Adam keeps a closer eye on him. He keeps notes in a diary he found and figures out that Conan is hiding something. Then Conan admits his secret to him: that he is a teenager named Shinichi Kudo who got shrunk into the body of a seven year old. Adam has kept his secret ever since and destroys all evidence against him.
Makoto Kino/Sailor Jupiter (Sailor Moon): At first some girl then some girl that he started to like then girl who decided to give him a serious thunderbolt to the chest. If it helps, Adam did the stupid thing by kissing her and paid for it. After that, they did end up being together in the romantic sense for a bit. He’s still upset at her leaving before he could show her a garden in a nearby town.
Your character's DEVELOPMENT:
There’s something I bring up when it comes to plotting in Discedo: Adam’s the SANEST adult in the bunch. Except when seriously provoked or when someone (or something) causes harm to someone close to him. I say this because of the variety of characters that have graced the setting as well as those close to the ranger. He knows many people and races who most likely crazier than a man running around in spandex. Examples include nation-people, time lords, and phoenix pirates that are somehow easy to talk to.
When I say ‘sane’, I mean he keeps his cool when it comes to certain situations. For example when Yao runs away from Discedo and moves further east, Adam addresses the network asking about transportation and where he can find it. He ends up taking a motorcycle (along with a pint sized stowaway) anyway and heads off to get him without stopping. Other examples include when the newest group of scientists come to help out with a ‘glitch’. The glitch being that zombies were running around and alternate realties were kind of colliding together. He ends up speaking to one of them, a teenage girl named Kain, and while he’s supposed to hate the people who pretty much kidnapped him, he doesn’t when it comes to this kid. She even called him ‘Daddy Kickassitude’ and ‘Papa Bear’ a couple times and he snarks back calling her ‘daughter’. The main point of this is that from when he was taken in canon to currently, Adam won’t make any speeches when it comes to facing the bad guys or any other threat. He will see the situation then take action.
Being in Discedo also made Adam not able to trust most of the scientists who brought the characters there. Even Kain he doesn’t trust fully and they get along mostly well and even joke around. He hates the fact that some of them were purposely causing harmful experiments such as infecting people with ‘sin’ and act out against the norm. Recently, someone was using their loved ones as means to go to an abandoned city. He was pretty pissed to have received a letter from ‘Rocky’ explaining how he was held hostage in some odd mountain town. The same town that houses a Weeping Angel. Thankfully one of the scientists has a heart and did a rescue mission before the angel could do any damage.
While there, Adam was able to show more of his leader skills. One time he organized a mission to an abandoned paper factory in order to rescue some animals the scientists had in their bunker, including little Haros and elephants. Things went smoothly and he was able to keep everyone from fighting or biting each other’s heads off. With the occasional hippie nation shooting pandas because “fuck pandas” and disgruntled teachers who like marking little kids with red ‘F’s on their faces being a slight bother. It didn’t change Adam’s objective to get the mission done. Also, with the departure of Kresnik Altreide, Adam became the new Watch leader. A small group but capable of protecting over the three major cities in case an incident would occur and Adam was willing to help fix it up and help others again.
Also, just as a note, Adam’s short term memory can…be off at times. For example, he couldn’t remember when Steve Rogers explained about the super soldier serum. It’s a small side effect from the time he lost a good chunk of his memory over a year ago. It was temporary for a month before he regained it. Let’s just say kissing overly powered sailor senshi is his stupidest idea to date. But to keep in mind, Adam might forget a random fact or two.

[The tablet turns on to show a tired face but slightly smiling. It pays to be friendly in a new place after all.]
I have to say that this is not so new to me. This kind of thing seems to happen back home quite a bit.
[Sadly one act doesn’t end all the evil in the universe. Zordon was powerful back then but even he had limits. And so more evil keeps trying to take over with more rangers being there to take them down.]
At least there was someone here telling me what exactly is going on instead of leaving me to my own devices. But to fight in a rebellion is out of left field.
[He also has to wonder if anyone from that place…or home was here. Despite all the bad, Adam still has a small amount of hope that someone will remember him.]
Anyway, there’s something a little more pressing at the moment. If anyone has heard of ‘Fortuna’ or ‘Angel Grove’, please contact me.
[There’s a silent ‘let me know if you’re alright’ in the message but to newcomers, it wouldn’t matter. With his tired smile, Adam then ends his feed.]
Third PERSON:
He remembers the world he was in beforehand.
The smell of rot and decay was too familiar to the man by now. The howling screeches of monsters that inhabited the alleyways of the cities and countryside made it seem like it was normal. Sad to say but it was the truth. He didn’t think he would go in such a way.
If he ever sees America again, he would not doubt how terrible falling into a ditch was. If he knew the country, he would say “fuck ditches” or something along those lines. Adam imagined that he would die by the hands of one of the scientists…maybe Kain would’ve watched while munching on some M&Ms. Or perhaps one of the monsters would’ve gotten to him as he protected a new arrival. But dying by falling into a ditch? It was pretty anticlimactic if you asked him.
A thought passed.
’If I died, would I just wake up before arriving here like nothing happened? Will I lose my memories of those I became close with and fought alongside?’
Losing his memories that one time pained him. He wasn’t sure if he could go through all that again.
No…he didn’t want to lose them again. Even if there’s no stopping it, he won’t stop. There was no giving up in Adam’s eyes. If he faced Zedd, Goldar, and Thrax then he won’t stop.
It feels like forever since he was thrust into darkness. So much so that he was starting to wonder if there was even ground to hit. Adam blinks once then sees it: a bright flash of light. He starts to speak out but all he manages to get out was a hard wince of pain due to the fall broken by his back. He looks up, seeing the light and shields his eyes with one of his arms. As he notices the place he is currently in, the first thing that came to mind was how clean the room is: it looks like it's been sterilized every single day. Given the fact that Adam is completely dirty and looks like he went through the ringer, he really does feel out of place. He stands up slowly as he notices someone walking towards him…a woman. She starts to speak but it's hard for Adam to listen to most of her speech, only able to pick up one sentence:
“Welcome to Exsilium.”

[The tablet turns on to show a tired face but slightly smiling. It pays to be friendly in a new place after all.]
I have to say that this is not so new to me. This kind of thing seems to happen back home quite a bit.
[Sadly one act doesn’t end all the evil in the universe. Zordon was powerful back then but even he had limits. And so more evil keeps trying to take over with more rangers being there to take them down.]
At least there was someone here telling me what exactly is going on instead of leaving me to my own devices. But to fight in a rebellion is out of left field.
[He also has to wonder if anyone from that place…or home was here. Despite all the bad, Adam still has a small amount of hope that someone will remember him.]
Anyway, there’s something a little more pressing at the moment. If anyone has heard of ‘Fortuna’ or ‘Angel Grove’, please contact me.
[There’s a silent ‘let me know if you’re alright’ in the message but to newcomers, it wouldn’t matter. With his tired smile, Adam then ends his feed.]
Third PERSON:
He remembers the world he was in beforehand.
The smell of rot and decay was too familiar to the man by now. The howling screeches of monsters that inhabited the alleyways of the cities and countryside made it seem like it was normal. Sad to say but it was the truth. He didn’t think he would go in such a way.
If he ever sees America again, he would not doubt how terrible falling into a ditch was. If he knew the country, he would say “fuck ditches” or something along those lines. Adam imagined that he would die by the hands of one of the scientists…maybe Kain would’ve watched while munching on some M&Ms. Or perhaps one of the monsters would’ve gotten to him as he protected a new arrival. But dying by falling into a ditch? It was pretty anticlimactic if you asked him.
A thought passed.
’If I died, would I just wake up before arriving here like nothing happened? Will I lose my memories of those I became close with and fought alongside?’
Losing his memories that one time pained him. He wasn’t sure if he could go through all that again.
No…he didn’t want to lose them again. Even if there’s no stopping it, he won’t stop. There was no giving up in Adam’s eyes. If he faced Zedd, Goldar, and Thrax then he won’t stop.
It feels like forever since he was thrust into darkness. So much so that he was starting to wonder if there was even ground to hit. Adam blinks once then sees it: a bright flash of light. He starts to speak out but all he manages to get out was a hard wince of pain due to the fall broken by his back. He looks up, seeing the light and shields his eyes with one of his arms. As he notices the place he is currently in, the first thing that came to mind was how clean the room is: it looks like it's been sterilized every single day. Given the fact that Adam is completely dirty and looks like he went through the ringer, he really does feel out of place. He stands up slowly as he notices someone walking towards him…a woman. She starts to speak but it's hard for Adam to listen to most of her speech, only able to pick up one sentence:
“Welcome to Exsilium.”
